Presentation of our project
At RADCO, we're proud to present our latest endeavor: the marine works project for Oran's Cap Blanc seawater desalination plant. This initiative is born out of the pressing need to address water scarcity in the region and underscores RADCO's commitment to delivering innovative infrastructure solutions.
RADCO has taken on a new challenge in marine works to meet the needs of the seawater desalination plant in Oran. Dredging to a depth of 23 meters is required to ensure the safe transport of over 740,000 cubic meters of seawater per day. Two 2500 mm HDPE pipes, each 560 metres long, will be installed to convey the water.
In addition, a brine water discharge system will be installed, extending up to 320 meters from the shoreline.
Scope of Work:
- Dredging: RADCO will undertake dredging operations to achieve a depth of 23 meters, ensuring the safe transport of over 740,000 cubic meters of seawater per day to the desalination plant.
- Pipe Installation: Two 2500 mm HDPE pipes, each spanning 560 meters, will be installed to convey seawater from the marine environment to the plant's facilities.
- Brine Water Discharge System: RADCO will implement a brine water discharge system extending up to 320 meters from the shoreline, responsibly managing the disposal of byproducts from the desalination process.
