Qualifications
- University degree in hydraulics "ingénieur en hydraulique".
- Minimum experience of 07 years preferably in water hydraulic modeling and civil design in the water industry.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with clients.
- Good command of the French language (spoken and written).
- Good command of hydraulic modeling software such as InfoWater, InfoSurge, WaterCAD and Water Hammer a plus.
- Good command of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS.
- Proven ability to provide detailed technical assessments, recommendations and influence people at all levels.
- Ability to focus on short and long term strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in design tasks, including project identification, feasibility studies, conceptual design, preliminary design and tender documentation.
- Continuously monitor the construction schedule, supervise and track progress.
- Prepare technical and presentation reports.
- Deliver innovative and cost-effective design solutions on time.
- Monitor project budgets, deadlines and resource allocation to ensure completion on time and within scope.
- Ensure that technical designs comply with the project's technical requirements.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their specific needs and develop solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Prepare and monitor engineering cost estimates and analyses.
- Work harmoniously as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure project success.
